Employment Law

Office Toronto

Tracy assists employers with a wide range of employment legal issues even before the employment relationship starts and well after it ends.

Tracy is a lawyer and partner of EY Law, LLP and brings more than 30 years of experience when clients call. Employment matters have become more complicated as employers manage complex and layered employment statutes, global and local markets that bring stiff competition for talent, changing technology and the impact that all this brings to their workplaces and their employees. Tracy works with employers, large and small, to find timely, practical and business minded solutions to their employment law needs that also foster positive and respectful work environments, including when advising on hiring, executive compensation, employment policies and practices, labour relations, workplace safety, employee training, discipline, workplace investigations, restrictive covenants, restructuring or terminations. While the goal is to be proactive with employment matters, Tracy also assists with employment litigation for her clients, whether in court or at an administrative tribunal. Tracy has also assisted employers with their employment law needs when entering or exiting the Canadian market and during mergers and acquisitions.

As a trusted advisor to her clients, Tracy is committed to providing timely, practical and business minded employment law advice that supports a respectful work environment.

Before joining EY, Tracy was a partner at a Toronto law firm where she led the Employment Law Department and was the Chair of the Legal Personnel Committee where she was dedicated to the firm’s development and training of its associates and creating a culture of respect, equity, inclusion and diversity.
