Experience

Prior to joining the EY Law LLP practice in Montreal, Nik was the leader of EY's Canadian Tax Desk in New York. Prior to New York, Nik was a tax partner in the Transaction Advisory Services practice of EY Law LLP. Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Nik practiced corporate tax law at a national Canadian law firm in Toronto.

Professional Accomplishments

Nik’s practice is focused on international tax matters and cross-border tax planning, with a particular emphasis on inbound-to-Canada transactions, and he has worked on numerous tax-efficient cross-border acquisition and financing structures for foreign investors into Canada.
