Tony Kramreither is a partner in the Toronto office of EY Law LLP. He is the managing partner of the Business Law Services group.
Tony has specialized in corporate commercial law for more than 20 years. He advises local, multi-national and multi-jurisdictional businesses on their legal issues, including planning, coordination and implementation of complex corporate and tax re-organizations, cross border mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, financings, private equity transactions and general corporate commercial law.
Tony routinely negotiates, drafts and provides legal advice on a variety of complex commercial contracts including distribution agreements, vendor/supplier services and customer contracts, technology licenses, shareholder agreements and joint venture agreements. He also provides legal advice to foreign companies in their expansion into Canada and their acquisition and strategic investment activities, from incorporations and corporate secretarial matters to acquisitions and divestitures of companies and employment matters.
He counsels boards of directors and senior management of companies on corporate governance matters, and has served as a director and officer for several of his clients before joining EY Law LLP.
Tony’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to mid-cap private and public companies in a wide range of industries, including technology, manufacturing, consumer goods and financial services.
