Shirin is a manager and immigration consultant with the Business Immigration practice at EY Law LLP. She provides a range of immigration advice and services to corporate and individual clients on various immigration issues, including overseeing and preparing applications for temporary and permanent residence. Shirin has worked in the field of immigration law for more than 10 years and is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Shirin worked with a boutique immigration law firm specializing in all aspects of business immigration. While there, she was exposed to all areas of Canadian temporary and permanent residence visa cases, and she became experienced in managing and preparing criminal inadmissibility, restoration, sponsorship and provincial nominee applications, as well as cases involving the relocation of a large number of foreign workers for a single project or assignment.
Shirin is an accredited member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council and the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants. She has a master’s degree from the University of Windsor in Political Science and graduated from the Immigration Practitioner Program at Seneca College in 2010 with high honors. Shirin also holds an honors bachelor of arts degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University in India. Shirin is fluent in Hindi and Bengali, and she has volunteered at WoodGreen Community Services as a mentor for its Community Connections Program.
