Roger E Taylor


Roger Taylor has been a partner with EY Law LLP since 1999. He has practiced exclusively in the tax controversy field for more than thirty years, has been involved with litigation issues at the stages of Audit, Appeals and both the trial and appellate courts, and has represented both the CRA and the taxpayer during that time.

Roger has been selected by his peers to appear in The Canadian Legal Expert Directory, validation that he is a leading lawyer in his practice area, according to the Lexpert's annual peer survey.

Roger litigated tax appeals for nearly twenty years at the federal Department of Justice, leaving as Senior General Counsel, Tax Law Services, in 1999 to become a partner at EY Law LLP. Since 1980, Roger has litigated at all federal and Ontario trial and appellate levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
