Marwah is an associate partner with EY Law LLP. Marwah practises exclusively in the field of US immigration and nationality law, and has a vast knowledge of US business immigration, including temporary visas, permanent residence, citizenship, and various policy and compliance matters.
As an experienced attorney in US business immigration, Marwah manages a team and oversees the delivery of US immigration services to corporate clients, including assisting them with temporary employment visas and permanent residence applications. Marwah has advised Fortune 500 companies, small to medium-sized companies and startups, as well as entrepreneurs. She has worked with companies in a wide range of sectors, including banking, financial institutions, pharmaceutical, health care products and medical devices, technology and academic institutions.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Marwah worked at boutique US immigration law firms in Toronto and Chicago, where she assisted small to medium-sized companies as well as individuals and families through the US immigration process. She has worked exclusively in the field of US immigration and naturalization law.
In addition to being an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), she has served as the AILA-Canada chapter vice chair and secretary. She also previously served as a committee co-chair with AILA-Chicago’s chapter and has been an invited speaker at AILA's Midwest Regional Conference. Marwah is fluent in English and Arabic.
Marwah is a member of the Illinois State Bar and is a licensed Foreign Legal Consultant by the Law Society of Upper Canada. She holds her JD from the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago and a BSc from Arizona State University.
