Manager, Associate Lawyer
Lindsey is a manager and associate lawyer with EY Law LLP, Toronto, Canada. She provides a wide range of US business immigration legal services and handles a high volume of Labor Certification Applications (PERM) and immigrant visa petitions.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Lindsey was an associate attorney at an immigration law firm in Paramus, New Jersey, where she prepared immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, as well as family-based petitions, naturalization applications and waivers, and represented clients in removal proceedings and in affirmative and defensive asylum applications. She has experience with a wide range of nonimmigrant classifications, including H-1B, L-1A/B, TN, K-1 and O-1 visa petitions. She specialized in EB-1-1 Extraordinary Ability petitions, National Interest Waivers, Outstanding Researcher petitions, as well as PERM and I-140 petitions. She has helped secure visas and green cards for various occupations, including but not limited to scientists, doctors, fashion designers, video game designers, engineers, business executives and startup founders.
Lindsey has also volunteered as a Pro Bono Attorney for Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a leading organization for the protection of unaccompanied children who enter the US immigration system alone.
Lindsey is licensed to practice immigration law in the United States and she is a registered Foreign Legal Consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada. Lindsey is admitted to the New York and New Jersey state bars. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
She holds her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2012 and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Spanish language, from the Pennsylvania State University.
