Lana is an associate lawyer with the Business Immigration practice at EY Law LLP. Her practice exclusively focuses on Canadian business immigration law including work permit applications, labour market impact assessments, permanent residence applications, complex admissibility matters, and provincial nominations in the Atlantic Provinces. Lana has vast experience providing strategic advice to national and international companies on a variety of issues related to cross-border movement to meet both short-term and long-term needs.
Lana has successfully managed the Canadian immigration process for corporate clients in a wide range of industries including shipbuilding, engineering, forestry, energy, manufacturing, marine, transportation, information technology, health care, and television/film.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Lana articled and practiced business immigration law at a leading regional full-service law firm in both Halifax, NS and Fredericton, NB.
In addition to being a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Lana is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s local immigration section and is a member of the York-Sunbury Law Society.
Lana was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society in 2011 and the Law Society of New Brunswick in 2014. She holds a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law and obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Mount Allison University.
