Katherine is a lawyer in the Canadian law firm EY Law LLP’s Canada and cross-border North American Free Trade Agreement (CaNAFTA) practice. She advises corporate clients on all aspects of Canadian citizenship and immigration law, with a focus on permanent and temporary residence applications.
Katherine oversees permanent resident applications in the Toronto office. She focuses on Express Entry, provincial nomination programs, inadmissibility matters, citizenship and other permanent residence applications.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Katherine worked as a lawyer at a boutique business immigration law firm in downtown Toronto. She advised multinational corporations, medium-sized businesses and independent clients on temporary and permanent entry into Canada. She articled at a full-service immigration firm and summered at a management-side labour and employment firm.
Katherine is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at York University, where she earned both her Honours Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education.
