An experienced attorney with a diverse business immigration background, Eric has served as immigration counsel to Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals. As an associate partner with EY Law LLP, he is responsible for helping global businesses maintain a successful US immigration program and for assisting individuals with securing and maintaining legal work authorization in the US on a temporary and permanent basis.
Eric has an extensive background with respect to all aspects of business immigration law, regulation and policy. He has broad experience with employer compliance issues (I-9 and Department of Labor) and short-term business traveler programs, as well as federal agency experience, including numerous petitions before the Department of Homeland Security, visa processing with the Department of State and employer compliance investigations by the Department of Labor and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Eric served as in-house immigration counsel for Microsoft Corporation. He has assisted thousands of individuals with obtaining temporary or permanent status in the United States, helped relocate employees internationally to meet business needs, redesigned corporate programs to coordinate the temporary employee and vendor business travel, and confirmed regulatory compliance.
Eric was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2002, as well as to the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts. Eric holds a JD from the New York Law School.
